Ohhh, I kinda wondered how that happened...I may be wrong but I think they are fair game in parts of the southwest...without the fanfare...just a guess..
You'd get in less trouble for shooting a human here....
Pretty cool trophy...I must say...

I prefer them as target practice..... Now, spotted cats of bigger size, turn my crank.

It is better to have it and not need it , than to need it and not have it ( by master gunsmith & very wise friend )

roundoak, nice McClellan..... Thanks! Saddles come and go around here, but this one stays. I did not take care of it when I first bought it as army surplus. Used it to break colts...about 15 years ago I had the Amish fix it up. I keep a thin withered, fast horse around just to use it now and again.

Black coyote - late fall 2009 Been wonderin' why Ol'Shep ain't been home...... Ya know, your are not the only one to comment on this critter. When this critter came to my call I had to do a double-take...triple-take. Did not want to shoot some neighbors dog. A WDNR wildlife biologist examined it and said without a necropsy at the state lab he could not be certain if it was a coy dog.
